Gross (before tax), based on 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year.
How It Works
Converting an hourly wage to an annual salary uses a direct baseline formula: multiply your hourly rate by weekly work hours, then multiply by work weeks per year (typically 40 hours × 52 weeks = 2,080 annual hours).
Taking unpaid leave or working partial shifts directly reduces your annual gross earnings. If you receive two weeks of unpaid vacation, calculate based on 50 paid weeks rather than 52.
All calculations display gross earnings before federal, state, provincial, and local payroll taxes, social security contributions, or retirement deductions are applied.
These figures serve as practical financial planning estimates. Overtime premiums, paid holidays, and non-taxable employer benefits may alter your final take-home compensation.
